Smokingroove have just recorded the first of the new series of Pacha Dubai compilations for the club super-brand and it’s now been released worldwide via Pacha Recordings.

The compilation features a hedonistic selection of tracks from the Pacha catalog with the original Smokingroove brand of funk mixed in to give it our own unique sound.

Safe Interviews Grandmaster Flash

This month, Safe was asked by our friends at Infusion Magazine to interview the legendary DJ and HipHop icon, Grandmaster Flash.

Filmed at N’Dulge, Dubai after his set played in front of a around a thousand jumping party people, Flash talks about his love of music, what makes him tick and his view on the music scene as a whole.

Smokingroove on Magnetic Recordings

Finally on release this week is our Filtered Disco House number ‘Bumpin’ My Tape’ on DJ Sneak’s own Magnetic Recordings. As we’ve both been avid fans of the label for a long minute, it was great to hear the big guy liked the track so much that he wanted it for Magnetic. Also in the sampler is a hot selection of some of Underground House’s new breed of next-gen names. You heard it here first!

Ahlan! Magazine Hot-100 Revealed

This month, Smokingroove finally arrive at WMC 2012 for their first performance there. As Marko will be in Dubai playing our residencies, Safe will be heading out to drop some House Bombas for the conference party goers.

Like the title says, Smokingroove have now partnered up with one of the leading brands on the globe and are now covered head-to-toe in Adidas Originals gear.
